Laura Salvatore (Nardini)

Salvatore, Laura (nee Nardini) passed away peacefully on Friday February 27, 2026.Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Rosaria Nardini. Loving wife of Dan, having recently celebrated 53 years of marriage. Devoted mother to Bill (Jeanine) Salvatore, Theresa (Bob) Hunsicker, and Loretta (Kris) Rudzinski. Adored grandmother of Rose, Charlie, Noah, and Anna Jeanne. Sister of Joe (Anne) Nardini, and Arthur (Kathy) Nardini. Preceded in death by her brother Elmer (Lucille) Nardini. Sister-in-Law of Mary E. Salvatore.As a nurse of 54 years, Laura devoted her life to taking care of others. She spent over 30 years at Cathedral Village Retirement Community in Philadelphia, and recently, she was a volunteer at the Mercy Neighborhood Ministry Adult Daycare Center in Philadelphia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a call hour at 9am at Old Saint Joseph’s Church, 321 Willings Alley, (4th and Walnut Streets) Philadelphia, PA 19106. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10am on Friday, March 13, 2026. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laura’s memory to Mercy Neighborhood Ministry, 1939 Venango Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
