Domenica Blando

Domenica (nee DiNolfo) entered into Eternal rest peacefully at her residence on Aug. 22, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was 100 years of age. Domenica was born in Gangi, Sicily, Italia, and was so proud of her heritage. She was the most devoted and beloved wife of the late Joseph. She was the most loving mother of Andrea (Virginia) and Peppino (Elisa); grandmother of Joseph (Natalie), Edmondo (Synthia), and Andrea; and great-grandmother of Michael, Andrea, Eva, and Melina. She also leaves her loving sisters, Giuseppina and Santina, in Italy, and many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Church of St. Monica, 1714 W. Ritner St.,Philadelphia Pa 19145 on Saturday Aug. 29, from10 AM for the reposing and to pay their respects to her family. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM precisely. The entombment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum.
